NATIONAL SUMMARY
Francine will continue to approach the coast tomorrow,
spreading heavy, flooding rain from Texas to Alabama.
Occasional rain can fall into the interior of Mississippi
and Arkansas. Strong winds can occur in Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama and can cause power outages and
downed trees. There can also be an isolated tornado along
the Gulf coast. General showers and thunderstorms will
occur in Florida. Meanwhile, a storm will spread showers and
cool weather across the Pacific Northwest and there can be
steady rain in Oregon. In the Rockies it will be dry and
very windy leading to a high fire threat. There can be a
spotty thunderstorm from Montana to Colorado. Elsewhere, it
will be dry and warm across the Plains and the Midwest.
Along the East coast, it will be mainly sunny and pleasant.
