Reuben could be seen helping out around Ravenseat from a young age and has maintained an interest in rural life ever since.
Sadly, the family documentary ended when Clive and Amanda split up after 21 years of marriage.
Reuben initially joined his dad in a new show called Beyond The Yorkshire Farm, which saw the pair embark on a business venture together digging pools in Cumbria.
As he’s gotten older, he’s also taken the opportunity to branch out on his own and follow his passion for engineering by starting a plant machinery venture.
Following a lot of interest from fans who begged him to star in a TV show of his own, Reuben went on to do just that.
His solo programme called Reuben: Life in the Yorkshire Dales aired on Channel 5 back in April. It follows his new business in its second year of operation.
He also shares regular updates about his business on social media, and on Monday (September 9), he shared a new video on TikTok.
Reuben shared a video montage of some of the digging he’s been busy doing in the Lake District recently.
The 33-second-long video shows him getting stuck into a new project which involves he is digging up, lifting and moving huge stone bricks across fields.
“Bit of digging from last week #plant #diggers #rocks #views #fy,” he wrote alongside the video.
However, he stopped short of addressing his parents’ split or their admissions about new relationships as he instead shifted focus onto his recent work projects.
However, Amanda, who is also busy working at Ravenseat, has opened up about her personal life.
After confirming that she had split from her boyfriend Rob Davis, Amanda admitted that she’s happily single for the time being.
Amanda Owen's relationship timeline
The Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has lived most of her life in the public eye as her Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm shined a spotlight on her rural life with ex-husband Clive and their nine children. Sadly, Amanda's relationship with Clive hit the rocks and in 2022 the couple announced their split. Let's take a closer look at the timeline of their relationship, plus Amanda's other notable romance...
Amanda married Yorkshire farmer Clive Owen, who is 19 years her senior, in 2002.
The couple welcomed nine children together over the course of their marriage.
Their nine children, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy.
There is a large age gap between some, with the oldest, Raven, now 23 and the youngest, Nancy, only 8.
Clive and Amanda appeared to be very much in love as they documented their home and working life together at Ravenseat in their Channel 5 series.
However, they shocked their fans on Thursday, June 9, 2022, when Amanda shared an Instagram post confirming that she and Clive had split.
She said: “Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.”
Clive has since opened up about his part in their split, admitting his “anger drove her away.”
Following their split the Sun revealed that Amanda had been having a relationship with web designer Robert Davies, who is 22-years her senior.
He was a “good friend” to them, Clive said as he confirmed that Amanda’s new relationship began after they had separated.
However, in 2024, Amanda revealed that her relationship with Robert had ended and that they were no-longer on speaking terms.
Meanwhile, Amanda and Clive have become good friends and continue to co-parent their children and work together on the farm.
They will reunite for a new Channel 4 documentary series that will see them attempt to restore an neglected property on their land.
She exclusively revealed to The Sun last week: “It’s just me and my horse now. I’m done, thank you very much.
“I need to regain my trust in humanity. I also refuse to be drawn into talking about Rob, because he’s a good guy and it’s not my place to speak for other people or point the finger.
“Clive and I chose to go into this reality TV world, but others did not.”
Currently, Amanda, Clive, Reuben and the rest of the Owen family are preparing for the launch of their new series, Our Farm Next Door on More4 which will follow them as they renovate an derelict cottage on their property.
Despite going through their very public split in 2022, Amanda and Clive have maintained a close friendship and will work on the series together.
While admitting that his “jealousy” was a factor in their separation, Clive praised his ex-wife and explained that they have continued to spend a lot of time together and they both still live at Ravenseat, just in separate cottages.
“The two houses are walking distance, so the kids, now aged from eight to 23, go where they want to go. They do as they please, there’s no tension or animosity about the set-up.
“It’s really good for them. Amanda is the greatest mother ever and the kids love her to bits,” he said.
