I got dupes of a high-end brand’s $59 makeup palettes at Aldi – they even come with nice brush and cost just $5.99 each
MAKEUP fans can get the luxury look for less at their local Aldi.
The grocery chain is offering dupes for an iconic set of eyeshadow palettes.
A Redditor shared her Aldi dupe for a pricier brand (stock photo)[/caption]Redditor Fionathefierce dished the details in a post on the social media platform.
“[I] saw an earlier post about these and bought three of the palettes today,” she said.
“The ‘three’ palette is a dupe(ish) of Urban Decay Naked3.”
“‘Nectar’ is the Honey Palette dupe, ‘Smoky’ is the dupe for Naked2 I think, that pallet is no longer for sale at Urban Decay.
Urban Decay’s Naked Eyeshadow Palettes, such as the Naked3 Soft Pink Eyeshadow Palette are sold for $59 for the full size.

Fionathefierce added her personal reasons for loving the Aldi dupes, called Lacura eyeshadows.
“The palettes have full-size mirrors, nice brushes, a substantial feel, and metal exterior,” she said.
“I think they were $5.99, which is roughly 90% off the Urban Decay palette price.”
She even said that she preferred the Aldi version to the original.
“I had the Urban Decay Honey palette but the yellows were so bad on me,” she said.
“I actually like the Aldi one better — but I no longer have the Urban Decay one for a direct comparison.”
PUBLIC OPINION
Another shopper said they tried the Aldi version as well and enjoyed it.
“Bought the Honey dupe yesterday,” they said. “That yellow-gold glitter shadow is amazing.”
A Sephora shopper described the Urban Decay Naked3 Soft Pink Eyeshadow Palette as “a must-have classic.”
“This is a classic palette, especially if you’re a cruelty, it is definitely my go to,” they said.
“I’ve had to replace several times from my nieces stealing it, highly recommend [it].
“You cannot go wrong with Urban Decay and their eyeshadows.”
“One of my favorite eyeshadows of all time,” another said.
“I love the soft colors and some of the dark colors if you want to make your eye look a little darker.
“The pigmentation is good, you can always put concealer or primer on your eyes if you want the colors to show more, but not necessary with this product for me.”
