Man fatally shot in Bridgeport

A man was shot to death earlier this month in Bridgeport on the South Side.

Marco Antonio Martinez, 36, was traveling in a vehicle when he was shot by someone inside an SUV in the 3100 block of South Morgan Street around 4 a.m. on Sept. 1, Chicago police said.

Martinez was struck in the face and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

No arrests were made.
