Harris campaign wages psychological war on Trump with Fox News ad

0

Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaign on Tuesday waged psychological warfare against former President Donald Trump by placing an ad on Fox News ahead of Tuesday's big debate that mocked his obsession with crowd sizes.

The new ad begins with former President Barack Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention in which the former president uses Trump's well-documented fixation on drawing large crowds to his rallies.

"Here's a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems," Obama said. "This weird obsession with crowd sizes."

The ad then cut to footage of empty seats at Trump rallies, and also featured footage of a Trump supporter sitting behind the former president yawning during one of his speeches.

Posting on Twitter, the Harris campaign wrote a deadpan message that, "We’re running this ad on Fox News this morning for no particular reason."
