Man Utd set to revive interest in Jarrad Branthwaite
Manchester United’s interest in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is reigniting, despite the club already bolstering their backline this summer.
The Red Devils have made two substantial offers, up to £50 million, for the 22-year-old Englishman, but Everton stood firm, demanding at least £70 million.
Branthwaite versatility make him a strong fit for the Mancunian giants, particularly with Lisandro Martínez being the only natural left-footed centre-back. With Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire possibly departing next summer, United’s pursuit of the youngster could intensify to ensure defensive depth.
Given his contract with the Merseyside outfit until 2027, the club will likely continue to demand a hefty fee if United return for the Englishman.
