India, Philippines to review defence ties, months after New Delhi supplies Brahmos missiles to Filipino military

India and the Philippines will review their defence and strategic partnership, focusing on military ties amid concerns over China's actions in the South China Sea. The fifth meeting of the joint defence cooperation committee will take place in Manila. Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane will lead the Indian delegation, while Senior Under Secretary Irineo Cruz Espino will head the Filipino team.
