Acadia Parish declares state of emergency in anticipation of Tropical Storm Francine

CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- Acadia Parish Police Jury President Beau Petitjean has declared a State of Emergency for Acadia Parish in preparation for the threat of Tropical Storm Francine.
As a result, all emergency preparedness plans and resources available to the parish will be utilized to minimize damaging effects. The Acadia Parish Police Jury encourages the public to make tentative preparations for the storm ahead.
