Man charged in Malta assault investigation
MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 22-year-old Zachary Christie following an investigation. Christie, who deputies say is currently homeless, was charged with second-degree assault.
According to the sheriff's office, Christie is accused of intentionally harming someone with a deadly weapon during an altercation on Sparrow Drive in Malta back on May 31. He was taken into custody on August 30 on an arrest warrant issued by the Saratoga County Court.
Christie was arraigned at the Saratoga County Court on September 3. He was then remanded to the Saratoga County Jail with further action in the case upcoming.
