Another death reported due to legionella outbreak at senior living facility
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Department of Health said two more people have tested positive for legionellosis connected to an outbreak at the Peregrine Senior Facility. One more death has now also been reported, bringing the total to four.
Water restrictions remain in effect at the facility. They are working with an outside vendor to implement a water treatment program.
The health department said it will continue to work with the senior living center and local hospitals to get people treated.
