Karnataka health minister urged to mandate medical prescriptions in Kannada

The Kannada Development Authority has requested Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao to mandate that doctors in government health centres and hospitals issue prescriptions in Kannada. KDA chairperson Purushotham Bilimale also suggested annual recognition for doctors who support the language. This initiative aims to promote the use of Kannada in medical practices across the state.
