The Indian Navy has launched two new anti-submarine warfare vessels, Malpe and Mulki, as part of its effort to bolster coastal defense capabilities. Built by Cochin Shipyard Ltd., these vessels are equipped with advanced indigenous sensors and are capable of speeds up to 25 knots. The project is part of India's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative, with over 80% indigenous content.
