To a degree, wage bill is irrelevant on it’s own too.
It has to be viewed alongside income to mean anything.
It it was £16M last year, with income of £16M, that’s not particularly sustainable (albeit much better than recent times).
If it’s now £16M against £32M of income that’s a fantastic position to be in as we can easily afford it without being reliant upon cash injections from Knighthead.
It’s all about building a sustainable business model.
This is what most ‘outsiders’ don’t get…. apparently we’re ‘going down the same road’ blah blah
