On Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, two of the top offensive players in the NFL will be on display when Jameson Williams and the Detroit Lions host quarterback Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Lions enter the matchup after winning 26-20 over the Los Angeles Rams in their last game on Sept. 8. Their last time out, the Buccaneers took down the Washington Commanders 37-20. Jared Goff had 217 yards on 18-of-28 passing (64.3%) for the Lions in that matchup against the Rams, with one touchdown and one interception. David Montgomery ran for 91 yards on 17 carries (5.4 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for two yards. Williams led the receiving charge against the Rams, catching five passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. Mayfield threw for 289 yards for the Bucs against the Commanders, going 24-for-30 (80.0%) with four touchdowns and no interceptions. He added three carries for 21 yards. Bucky Irving put together a nine-carry, 62-yard game (6.9 yards per attempt), while tacking on two receptions for 14 yards. Chris Godwin collected eight catches for 83 yards (on eight targets), with one touchdown.
