Oregon police charge a neighbor of a nurse reported missing with murder

Oregon police have charged the neighbor of a Beaverton nurse with murder after an investigation determined he was involved in her disappearance. The Beaverton Police Department says it arrested 27-year-old Bryce Schubert on Saturday and charged him with murder in connection with the death of 32-year-old Melissa Jubane. Police conducted a welfare check at Jubane's apartment in the Portland suburb after she did not show up for work Wednesday. Police say her remains have been recovered. County and police spokespersons say Schubert will appear in court for arraignment later Monday and that the court will address his legal representation.
