Man slashed in the throat after fight on Brooklyn street: sources
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man was slashed in the throat after walking away during an argument with the suspect on a Brooklyn street Monday, according to police and sources.
The 53-year-old victim and the suspect got into a fight while standing in line in front of 258 Schermerhorn St. in Boerum Hill at around 10:45 a.m., police and sources said.
The victim tried to walk away but the suspect followed him before slashing him in the throat from behind, according to sources. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect was wearing a black shirt, white shorts, and white sneakers, and fled westbound on Schermerhorn Street towards Hoyt Street.
There have been no arrests. The weapon was not recovered.
