GlobalFoundries opens grant application process in Malta
MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- For the 14th year in a row, Global Foundries- Town of Malta Foundation has opened the grant application process for local nonprofits, charities, and community arts organizations. The foundation helps fund local organizations for their programs and projects that benefit the community.
Nonprofit organizations and charitable groups can apply for funding online through the Malta Foundation's website. The board must receive applications before or on Thursday, Oct. 31, as the grants will be awarded in December.
Over the last 14 years, the foundation has invested $1.9 million into the Malta community, and in 2023, $144,331 was distributed to 30 organizations and community projects. Malta Foundation President Adam Semedo said the foundation's community support becomes more robust every year by showcasing the organization's dedication to the community.
"We seek out projects that are creative, innovative, and inclusive, aiming to provide the greatest benefit to the broader Malta community," Semedo said. "The Foundation Board and organization representatives welcome 2024 grant applications for a range of projects and programs that contribute to and enrich our region."
