Buying a new car (14 replies)
Just looking through a few cars for my next project and came across this add. The read up was superb and looked like a good genuine motor, byt then I read the last part of the ad which made me LOL. My thoughts were "tell me you do not want me to look at your car without telling me you do not want me to look at your car LOL....
Terms of sale ( Must read, sorry but I have to put this)
* To the right person who genuinely wants the car, I'm more than happy to make you a cuppa and have a chat. I'll show you everything working on the car. I'm not pushy, you either want it or you don't. I genuinely don't care either way. It really is that nice.
* People who view the car to day dream are loosing me money as I've had to say I can't go to a job, as I have a car viewing. I cannot afford this as a small business owner.
* It's Cash only, this means Physical Cash. I will not under any circumstances accept a Bank Transfer.
* No Autotraders, Bedroom Traders or Wannabee Traders.
* A fuel charge will apply for a test drive, being a convertible, people want a spin out with no intention to buy the car. This will be deducted off the sale price.
* No unexpected visits, if you turn up not at the agreed time. I either won't be in as I run 3 small businesses, or I'll purposely ignore you.
* I don't care about your bills, insurance costs and income. It's not my business nor do I care, so using them to try and knock me down won't work.
* This is a nice low mileage example, with all the common problems done and the gearbox serviced etc with stacks of paperwork. Don't compare it to a write off, over 100k with no paperwork.
* We have has decided to put our new private reg on, so if you like it, you'll have to leave a deposit and the car won't be moved. And we will apply instantly to remove the reg. You will have to wait around a week for the new v5c to physically land on my doorstep before I can sell the car via DVLA online.
