Tata Power starts solar cell production at Tirunelveli plant

In a big boost to domestic manufacturing, TP Solar Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd., has started producing solar cells at India's largest single-location facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The plant's production capacity is set to reach 4 GW soon.
