Albania experiences mild inflation in August

TIRANA, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Albania's consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.5 percent in August, indicating that inflationary pressure was mild in recent months, the country's Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) said on Monday.

The annual CPI increase was 2.0 percent in August, while the figure for August 2023 was 4.0 percent.
