Ikea looking at next phase of investments in India, plans smaller format stores in adjacent markets

Ikea is planning its next phase of growth in India, focusing on small-format stores and online expansion. The company will start online sales in Delhi-NCR by early 2025, followed by a physical store in Gurugram in 2026. Ikea aims to penetrate adjacent cities and has plans for six key markets including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, and Pune.
