New biz premium of life insurers grows 22 pc to Rs 32,644 crore in August

Life insurers in New Delhi have seen a 22% increase in new business premiums, collecting Rs 32,644 crore in August. Over the first five months of FY25, premium collections rose by 21% to Rs 1,54,194 crore. Despite this growth, new policy issuances decreased slightly by 1.44% compared to last year.
