Soap legend hasn’t aged a day in 20 years after becoming a pop star and cancer battle
DELTA Goodrem was a vision in white as she appeared onstage at Radio 2 in the park in Preston and the Aussie singing sensation has hardly aged a day.
The 39-year-old who shot to fame on the soap Neighbours, wowed the crowds with her best loved hit songs, including Born to fly as she accompanied herself on the piano.

Born in Sydney Australia, Delta got her foot on the showbiz ladder at a young age, when she began acting in commercials and TV shows.
After learning the piano she also began singing and aged 15 landed a music deal with Sony.
Simultaneously she also won the role of shy school girl and aspiring singer, Nina Tucker on Neighbours in 2002.
Her role on the popular soap helped to launch her music career as her debut single, Born to Fly first premiered on the show and reached number one in the Australia and New Zealand music charts.
In 2003 her self-penned album, Innocent Eyes was a smash hit selling more than 1 million copies in Australia and 4 million copies worldwide.
But later that year at the age of just 18, she was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma after discovering a lump in her neck.
The musician was forced to postpone all working commitments, as she underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment for her condition.
News of her illness sparked an outpouring of support and sympathy from fans around the globe and strengethen her fan base.
After announcing that she was in remission in early 2004, Delta then released another studio album Mistaken Identity which went platinum in the Australian music charts.
The album also featured a duet, Almost There with Westlife star Brian McFadden. The pair had begun dating after the demise of Brian’s marriage to Atomic Kitten star, Kerry Katona with whom he has two daughters.
He eventually became engaged to Delta, but in the end they were unable to go the distance and their relationship ended in 2011.
Since 2011, Delta has enjoyed a high profile judging role on the Australian version of The Voice during which she continued to release new music.
In 2017 she starred as Olivia Newton John in a new biopic and released a cover version of her famous song: I honestly Love you.
Having mad e a full recovery from cancer, in June 2020, Goodrem launched the Delta Goodrem Foundation in partnership with St. Vincent’s Hospital and The Kinghorn Cancer Centre in her native OZ. The foundation aims to raise funds for the acceleration of innovative blood cancer research.
In 2022 she returned to her small screen role of Nina Tucker in Nieghbours the finale as the viewers waved goodbye to iconic soap after more than 30 years.
Early last year she announced that she was returning to the UK and Europe with her Hearts on the Run tour.
Since 2016 she has been in a relationship with Matthew Copley and in September 2023 they announced their engagement.
