KERRY Katona’s daughter Heidi is in talks for the lead role in a huge new film as she embarks on her exciting acting career.
Heidi has auditioned for the part in a Pinocchio feature film and has also “secured other incredible opportunities,” as she embarks on her new career move.
Kerry shares her 17-year-old daughter, Heidi Elizabeth Croft, with her ex-husband Mark Croft.
A source told The Sun of the teenager’s success: “She’s already secured some incredible opportunities, including a casting in for a lead role in a Pinocchio feature film, which is a massive milestone.
“What really sets Heidi apart is how professional she is. She’s so focused and grounded, even at this early stage in her career.
“And what’s amazing is that she has a young playing age, which gives her so much flexibility for a variety of roles.”
They continued: “But it’s not just about her looks or versatility—Heidi has this rare ability to truly connect with her characters and bring them to life in such a natural, authentic way.”
Earlier this year, Kerry refused to pay for her daughter Heidi to go to sixth form.
The former Atomic Kitten singer revealed the reason behind her controversial parenting move in her New magazine column.
The mum of five wrote: “She asked to carry on her studies in a private school’s sixth form but I refuse to pay for that because she’s not in school enough as it is and she hates it.
“It’d be different if she decided she wanted to go to drama school – I would pay for that because she’s a born star and is really good.
“I can see her being famous and she could build a name for herself if she posted relatable TikToks or something, but does any 16-year-old ever listen to their mum?”
Last month, Kerry could hardly contain her excitement after her eldest daughter Heidi smashed her GCSEs.
After collecting the kids from school in her bright green Lamborghini, Kerry said she “couldn’t be more proud” of Heidi’s results.
Sharing a video from the car, Kerry screamed: “We’ve just come out of the school, we’ve got our Molly with me and we’ve just got our Heidi’s results!
“I cannot be more proud than what I am right now, go on tell them what you got,” she urged Heidi, who was sat in the front seat.
The teenager picked up her results paper and wrote: “So I got five, six, five, seven, seven, seven, seven, seven.”
Fans flocked to congratulate Kerry and Heidi, with one writing: “Well done. Brilliant results xx”
“Well done to your baby girl, she’s beautiful and well done to you Kerry you’re one amazing mother,” said a second.
“So pleased for you bubs, not surprised Mum is so proud of you,” wrote a third.
Clearly fond of performing, Kerry has shared videos of her daughter Heidi singing in the past, and showing off her incredible vocals.
She even went on The Voice Kids in 2020, and the 13-year-old at the time belted out Macy Gray’s I Try and had her singer mum in tears as she watched backstage.
Her powerful performance was enough to impress the judges with Paloma Faith welcoming Heidi onto her team, much to Kerry’s delight.
