Nifty tad above 24,850 mark; FMCG shares in demand

At 12:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex added 38.23 points or 0.06% to 81,244.03. The Nifty 50 index rose 1.50 points or 0.01% to 24,853.65.
