Rain leads to closure of over 60 roads in Himachal Pradesh

Over 60 roads in Himachal Pradesh have been blocked due to recent rains, with the highest number of closures in Shimla. The state has also seen disruptions in 17 power schemes. Since the onset of monsoon, Himachal Pradesh has recorded a rainfall deficit and suffered significant losses, including 158 rain-related deaths and Rs 1,305 crore in damages.
