Taiwan reports China's military activity near its territory, detects 21 PLA aircraft, seven naval vessels

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence reported that 21 Chinese military aircraft, seven naval vessels, and one official ship were detected near Taiwan. Sixteen aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, entering Taiwan's ADIZ. In response, Taiwan deployed aircraft, naval ships, and missile systems to monitor the situation. This activity is part of China's ongoing military provocations around Taiwan. Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te criticized China's intentions and reaffirmed Taiwan's stance on sovereignty.
