'Vanderpump Rules' to Start Filming Season 12 This Fall, New SUR Spinoff In the Works (Report)
Vanderpump Rules is nearing a start on production for it’s next season!
According to a new report, the cast of the Bravo reality show will start filming season 12 this fall, after taking a hiatus over the summer.
If you recall, production on the show was put on hold and they skipped their usual summer filming schedule to allow the group some time to decompress after the last two seasons.

Whether the full cast will return is up in not officially known at the time of this post, but it’s expected the full cast – Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent (who just gave birth), Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, as well as Ally Lewber and Brock Davies – will all be back.
If you recall, Ariana was also quite busy this summer, filming Love Island USA and returning to Broadway for another stint in Chicago. Back in May, the series’ showrunner addressed if Ariana and Tom would both be back for the next season.
In addition to VPR starting filming soon, TMZ reports that another spinoff is in the works, following a new group of employees at SUR, and they’ve been filming over the past couple weeks. The potential new show has not been officially picked up yet.
Vanderpump Rules originally started with servers and bartenders at SUR and has morphed into what it is today, with none of the cast working at the restaurant anymore.
The first spinoff, The Valley, has been filming over the past couple months, with two of the stars getting engaged during their cast trip to Hawaii last week!
Stay tuned for official news on Vanderpump Rules season 12 and a potential new spinoff.
