Fashion designer Elie Balleh's new collection raises awareness for childhood cancer
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Fashion with compassion.
One clothing designer is trying to help children with cancer while displaying his beautiful clothes.
It’s a fashion week runway show in New York City with a message.
Designer Elie Balleh, a Syrian Jewish fashion designer born in Lebanon, is using sparklers, crystals, and feathers to raise awareness about childhood cancer.
Balleh’s fashion show featured a dazzling array of sequin jackets and crystal ensembles.
There are bold silhouettes and vibrant colors.
Flowers, diamonds and feathers inspire Balleh’s latest collection.
He says he is self-taught and has stitched all these clothes by hand.
As a father of eight children, Balleh wants to help families struggling with pediatric cancer.
