She explained that the product became her holy grail after she learned about it from a pro.
“I was taught this trick by a makeup artist, [which] is to spray rose water as the finishing touch,” she said.
“I love the way it smells.”
Jessica is also a massive fan of the brand’s drying lotion, which she applies before foundation.
After patting in sunscreen and finishing her skincare routine, she dotted the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion on her skin.
Using her clean pinky finger, the actress gently added a layer of the lotion to her upper lip and waited for it to dry.
Once dry, she explained that the lotion formed a protective shield against acne.
“You’ve got a layer on between the blemish and the makeup,” she said.
“I’ve got the shield on, so now I’m going to do the rest of my makeup.”
Happy customers raved about the inexpensive rosewater, which many agreed worked wonders to meld their makeup.
“I have been purchasing Mario Badescu skin care products for years, and this facial spray is one of my favorites,” said one reviewer.
“I use it while I’m applying my foundation, and then again in the very end to set all my applied makeup, making it stay put all day!”
One shopper said it was an “amazing makeup setter and even better at helping me apply my BB cream or foundation.”

“It blends so smoothly and really gives more of a flawless, hydrated, airbrushed look,” she said.
“It is not oily looking at all but just perfectly blends my makeup, and I can’t believe how much better my makeup looks since I started using this to apply my BB cream.
“I’ve also used it to set makeup after fully finishing applying it, and it stays on and put longer.”
Others added that a layer of the spray helped to revitalize their makeup instantly throughout the day.
“I don’t have dry skin or anything, but this is great for a mid-day refresh of my makeup,” said one.
“I also love to apply a few spritzes between my toner and moisturizer steps. I’ll also use it after I apply contour before I blend it in.”
