The Englishman’s approach shot landed eight feet from the hole, putting pressure on Garcia-Heredia, 42, who missed his 18-foot birdie attempt.
As his putt dropped into the hole and secured his victory the star was visibly proud.
And Wallace speaking to Sky Sports, apologised for crying as he started to process what it meant to win the tournament.
He said: “That was a hard day man. That’s a hard day.
“I felt like I played alright – I’m sorry for the tears!”
When he regained composure he added: “I’m happy, I’m happy.
“That was good. Alfredo and Beef (Johnson] played great, it wasn’t easy.

“I felt like there was a score out there and I couldn’t get anything going.
“I kept pushing, I kept pushing. Alfredo did what he needed to do at the end there.
“I said to him as we went in, ‘great play’. And it’s a lot easier to make birdie when you need to on the last, you know. And that’s what I did.”
