The DIY-loving whizz explained in the post: ”I live in a private rented house with an amazing land lady who let’s me do whatever as long as it’s tasteful!

”I’ve always hated the bathroom but finally braved it and added a bit of colour!”

The original bathroom, which was also quite small in size, featured simple white walls, a tiny sink with a colourful blue splash and a simple white bathtub.

But instead of forking out a fortune – the average costs of a makeover can set you back between £2k to £4, experts have said – Leanne worked with what she had.

Armed with an inspiration and creativity, the cash-savvy woman made the bathroom go from drab to fab using nothing but Temu bargains.

One of the areas she tackled included the white walls, which Leanne covered with a lovely wallpaper that featured a gorgeous floral patterns.

The rest of the purse-friendly buys included a bath mat, toilet roll holder, toilet roll hammock, corner shelves, one above toilet and towel holder – none of which, she added, required ”no drilling”.

Whilst placing the order from the China-based online giant, the shopper also added ”nifty little shower curtain holders to stop water leaving the shower” to the basket.

”And the corner cupboard is in fact a bread bin also from Temu because I couldn’t find a corner cupboard I liked!” she chuckled in the caption.

”Most of the stuff is from Temu! And did it all under £80!”

The epic makeover has since taken the popular page, home to 2.2million thrifty members, by storm.

One fan of the transformation said: ”Absolutely love a decent landlady, we have one now. Looks fabulous.”

Another chimed in: ”So very proud of you Leanne. You are truly gifted and extremely capable young lady.
