Typhoon Yagi weakens, toll rises to 14 in Vietnam

The death toll from Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam has risen to 14 as the storm, now downgraded to a tropical depression, caused widespread destruction. It damaged thousands of homes and hectares of crops, sank boats, and triggered landslides. The typhoon had already left a trail of devastation in southern China and the Philippines.
