PH wartime heroes get honors from US

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The first bomb unleashed over the John Hay Air Station by Japanese fighter planes on Dec. 8, 1941, was heard 3 kilometers away from Teachers’ Camp, where cadets of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) were attending classes at the time. The instructor assured the cadets that the explosion could be part
