Vedanta will progress from being asset manager to asset owner with demerger: Anil Agarwal

Vedanta's proposed demerger will create independent companies for its aluminium, oil and gas, power, steel, and base metals businesses, said Chairman Anil Agarwal. The existing zinc and new incubated businesses will remain under Vedanta Ltd. The company aims to complete the process by the end of this fiscal year after receiving approval from 75% of secured creditors.
