Man walked up to woman and sexually abused victim in Manhattan: NYPD
CHELSEA, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man allegedly went up to a woman, pulled her pants down, and grabbed her buttocks in a sexual abuse incident Tuesday morning, police said.
The male suspect groped a 28-year-old female victim.
Officers from the tenth precinct responded to a 911 call at 3:45 a.m. The female victim had been walking near West 26 Street and 11 Avenue when she was approached by an unidentified male who pulled the victim's pants down, authorities said.
Police say the male fled eastbound on West 26 Street.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene of the incident, police said.
A full investigation remains ongoing.
