Walton: Advice? Take it from me, it’s free

A recent email from a reader was a bit confrontational. When you live on the op-ed page, it happens. Why, he asked, do I think I know it all? This shocked me because not a day goes by that I don’t realize how little I know. He wasn’t finished. If I’m so smart, he suggested, why not just become an advice columnist? Instead of lamenting the world’s problems, he said, why not solve a few?
