E4 reality show Love Triangle struggling to attract singles to experience throuple fun
A REALITY show about throuples is struggling to attract singles to join the three-way fun.
Producers face a race against time with E4’s Love Triangle starting filming in two weeks.
David Haye and model Sian Osbourne were linked to singer Una Healy[/caption]The show will follow singles who are matched with two potential partners in the hope of finding love.
They pick one to move in with. But, in a shock twist, the second arrives to join the love nest.
A series of last-minute casting calls were released online last week asking for contestants to apply.
A TV source said: “There is a real fascination with throuples at the moment.
“But execs have hit a stumbling block with seeking out ‘thirds’.
“They need singletons who want to try being in a throuple on national TV.
“People who aren’t just sex mad — but who are eloquent, attractive and likeable.”
The idea comes after boxer David Haye and model Sian Osbourne were linked to singer Una Healy, although Una, 42, denied being part of a throuple.
Haye, 43, and Sian, 32, later enjoyed a holiday with personal trainer Mica Jova.
Last week, actress Helen Flanagan, 34, admitted she fell in love with Haye while he was with Sian.
Channel 4 commissioning editor Lee McMurray said: “I can’t wait to see how a fresh batch of singles navigate this unique, three-way dating experiment, and what their stories will deliver.”
