The “lush” Taurus Cherry Cider will once again be available in Aldi’s stores from September 9.

The returning cider will join Aldi’s Taurus Blood Orange Cider and Island’s Premium Apple, both of which won awards at this year’s World Cider Awards.

The sought-after ciders can be purchased as a four-pack for £3.49.

This means each can can costs just a mere 87p.

Alcohol fans were furious when Aldi axed the cherry-flavoured cider from their shelves.

The major retailer’s alcohol selection is a big hit with shoppers because they scan at competitively low prices.

However, it’s not just cider fans who are excited about Aldi’s alcohol range.

Bargain hunters are sprinting to get to their nearest branch, eager to get their hand on a bottle of rosé wine.

Not only have shoppers hailed the rosé a ‘beautiful’ tipple, but it’s scanning through for less than £3.50 too – so if you’re on a budget, you won’t want to miss this.

One Aldi fan was left impressed when searching through the alcohol aisle in her local store when she spotted a stunning bottle of sparkling rosé that had been reduced.

Thrilled with her find, Sarah Jane Moores took to social media to show off her new, cheap purchase, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on Aldi UK Shoppers, a private Facebook group with 298,200 members, the savvy shopper, who is from CheshireUK, shared a snap of her alcoholic beverage.

Sarah was lucky enough to get her hands on a bottle of the Costellore Italian Sparkling Rosé, which she claimed scanned at the till for just £3.49.

Alongside her post, Sarah beamed: “Bargain at £3.49.”

“It’s a dry Spumante rose.”

Sarah later explained that her sparkling wine not only comes in a luxurious bottle, but is 11.5% ABV.

The posh, dry wine is normally priced at £8.99, but in most stores, has been slashed down to £4.99.

However, luckily for Sarah, she found it even cheaper, and for £3.49, it’s no surprise that she was pleased with her purchase – an impressive £5.50 cheaper than the original price.

After trying the beverage, Sarah later wrote: “It’s really good.

“Definitely recommend.”

It comes after sweet-toothed shoppers rave over a discount retailer’s new 99p alcohol range.

And after Aldi’s wine expert declared chilled reds the new go-to vino for summer, we decided to put them to the test.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
