Albany man sentenced 8 years for Halfmoon robbery
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The man who robbed Mi Mexico Lindo Tienda y Taqueria in Halfmoon in November was sentenced to eight years in prison for first-degree robbery on Friday. Jesus Antonio Menendez-Flores pleaded guilty to the charge on Monday, July 22.
According to the Office of the District Attorney of Saratoga County, Menendez-Flores entered the grocery store and restaurant wearing a ski mask around 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Several customers detained Menendez-Flores said he was armed.
Investigators found that Menendez-Flores only implied that he had a firearm. He will serve three years of probation after his prison sentence.
