I do my nighttime skincare routine at the CLUB before going home… trolls reckon it’s ‘gross’ but it saves me time

A WOMAN has left people disgusted after revealing she does her nighttime skincare routine at the CLUB before heading home.

As much as some of us like to party on the weekends, with a cheeky cocktail (or two), there’s one aspect of going out we all dread – going home and having to do our nighttime skincare regimen.

The redhead beauty, from London, shared her nighttime skincare routine on Instagram where it left people horrified

Although it may have saved her time, critics reckoned removing make-up in the loo was ‘gross’[/caption]

But one party lover, only known as Kyden, has come up with a rather bizarre solution – to remove her make-up and apply her skincare at the nightclub.

The young woman, from London, explained that this means she can ”roll straight” into her bed once she’s done with the nightout.

Kyden, who also shared a video of the beauty routine on Instagram, said: ”Honestly nothing worse than getting home after a night out and having to sit there staring into the void for an hour before I finally build up the courage to take my makeup off.”

The stunning redhead, who posts under @kyden.fire on the platform, started the nighttime process with brushing her pearly whites in the loo, with her tresses tied up in two cute buns.

In front of the mirror, the party lover had also placed all of her skincare essentials, ranging from an eye make-up remover to an overnight lip mask for a soft, juicy pout.

Other goodies she worked her way through by the sink included @b._by_superdrug Cleanse Melting Cleansing Balm, @garnieruk SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water, @glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser,
@glossier Exfoliating Skin Perfector Solution, to name a few.

”I even packed a little towel to dry my face,” she chuckled in the caption.

Once the skincare routine had been successfully completed, the fresh-faced beauty put on her glasses, before heading home for well-deserved rest.

However, whilst Kyden may have indeed saved some time, social media users weren’t so sure about doing skincare in the loo.

One horrified Instagram user said: ”The restroom at any club is just very very gross and I wouldn’t be up to contaminate the things I use on my face….”

Another wondered how far the party lover will be ready to take it, writing: ”What’s next?

Sleeping on the floor to be ready for next night in the club?”

”It’s crazy to me people don’t shower after being outside,” a third critic chimed in.

Biggest beauty mistakes

Fabulous' Beauty Editor Tara Ledden has shared the do's and don'ts when it comes to beauty.

“No matter how much time and money you spend on your beauty routine, if you’re not getting the basics right, the rest is wasted.

“There aren’t many non-negotiables, but these are the biggest beauty mistakes sabotaging your regime.”

  • Not wearing SPF: Sun-damage is the main cause of premature skin ageing, so if you want to keep your skin looking plump and glowing, sun cream is vital.
  • Using expired products: Best case, they’re ineffective and don’t deliver the results they promise, worst case they cause irritation and infection. The shelf life of beauty products differ – for example, mascara is usually good for 3-6 months while lipstick can last for 9-18 months. Check the ‘POA’ symbol on the packaging (it looks like a jar and will have a number inside for how many months it’s safe once opened. If you can’t remember when you opened your product, throw it away and start again, marking the month and year with a permanent marker on the packaging.
  • Not knowing your undertones: If you’re using make-up with the wrong undertones, it’ll never look natural no matter how much you blend it! An easy trick to work out whether you have cool, warm or neutral undertones is to check the veins on your wrist – if they look blue, you have cool undertones, if they’re green, you have warm and if they’re a mix you have neutral.
  • Skipping heat protector: It might feel unnecessary, but much like sun damage on the skin, excess heat is the most common cause of hair damage. So, if you want shiny, healthy hair, or you’re trying to grow it longer, using a heat protection product is key.
  • Not washing your face before bed: it’s as simple as this, if you’re not washing your face before you go to sleep, everything that’s been on your skin during the day is sitting there for even longer, clogging your pores and drying out the surface. Any skincare applied on top isn’t going to be effective with a layer of dirt underneath, and you’re probably going to end up with dirty pillows too – yuck!

Someone else, meanwhile, thought it was way too much effort and faff.

”You take all of that to the club? I’d rather just show up without makeup in the first place.”

However, not everyone raced to criticise the redhead, as one hit back at the trolls: ”Idk why people are freaking out over this tbh…

”I hate clubbing and the worst part is always getting home exhausted and having to push so hard to at the very least wash my face (I’d shower but I may very well fall asleep in there) so what’s wrong with doing this?”

”This is genius,” thought another supportive viewer.
