Among the bargains is a kids’ folding chairs that are perfect for camping, or for relaxing in your back garden.

One savvy shopper posted the find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, writing: “Kids camping / garden chairs.

“£8 reduced to £3 in Aldi. They come with a carry bag.”

They shared a photo of their newly purchased chair in its packaging.

Fellow bargain hunters were quick to comment on the post and make plans to head to their nearest Aldi store to bag one.

One tagged their friend and wrote: “I need one for my daughter. Keep your eyes open.”

Another said: “My kids love theirs.”

A third added: “I love these. Cute!”

The outdoor chair is designed for children over the age of three and feature either a fox, deer, owl, or a bear.

It measures 67cm by 57cm by 37cm and is made from polyester and steel.

Describing the product, Aldi writes: “These comfortable chairs are perfect for when you’re on the move.

“Make sure everyone has a comfortable place to sit on your next outdoor adventure.

“With fun designs, these chairs are both practical and stylish.”

It was originally priced at £8 on the website, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to buy it online and is available in stores only.

However do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so availability will vary from store to store.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest B&M store using the locator tool on the website.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

There are dozens of similar-looking garden chairs listed online but for quite a bit more money.

We spotted a similar style chair on Regatta for just under £10, while Blacks is also selling one for £9.

Prices can also vary day to day and by what deals are on at the time, plus remember you might pay for delivery if you’re ordering online.

You can compare prices on platforms like Google Shopping.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
