Now the Mirror has reported that the programme will be called Escape to Pickle Cottage.

A source said: “Who needs the Kardashians or the Osbournes when you’ve got Stacey and Joe? The BBC might not seem like an obvious home for this kind of project but they have developed a great working relationship over the years so this felt like a natural progression.

“It’s great that Stacey and Joe are going to let viewers into their lives. It might be chaos but it’s organised chaos! Everyone’s excited to see what the cameras will find. It’s really going to be a lot of fun.

“Everyone is delighted they agreed to let the cameras in and this will be something a bit different for BBC1.”

While fly-on-the-wall entertainment series’ might not be the Beeb’s bread and butter, Stacey already has a strong relationship with the Corporation thanks to her successful Sort Your Life Out show.

An insider previously told us: “Stacey and Joe are such homebodies and love nothing more than spending time with their children.

“The series is set to be a huge hit, given the chaos that comes with a big family.

“Stacey and Joe will also not hold back when it comes to showing the highs and lows of family life.

“Fans can expect to see an unfiltered version of a busy household.”

Not only is Pickle Cottage home to the blended family’s six children, it also hosts a family of ducks.

Stacey previously announced the arrival of Daisy and Delilah in a post on Instagram.

She wrote: “Daisy & Delilah Solomon-Swash.

“So our ducks are gorgeous feather girlies & now finally we can name them.

“Honestly these little duckies have brought so much joy to our lives.

Stacey recently revealed she had adopted ducks[/caption]

“They’re so loving and cuddly and just the most amazing addition to our family!

“Can’t wait to complete pickle cottage pond & maybe adopt some more feathered friends.

“Things are starting to get a little more even around pickle cottage.

“6 boys 5 girls now counting all dogs ducks and humans!”

Stacey and Joe share three children – Belle, Rex and Rose – together while the singer has Leighton and Zach from previous relationships and Joe has teen son Harry.

Inside Stacey Solomon's Pickle Cottage

STACEY Solomon splashed out a massive £1.2million on Pickle Cottage - and Joe Swash didn't put in a penny.

She solely stumped up the cash for their Tudor-style Essex property, which is set in 2.5 acres and boasts an outdoor swimming pool.

The former X Factor star and Joe live there with Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle.

It’s not known why Stacey went alone, as ex-EastEnders actor Joe is reportedly worth over £1million, but has also been made bankrupt twice in 2009 and 2013.

Shrewd Stacey has shown she’s a dab hand at running a wide range of successful businesses including TV, books, clothing and homeware ranges.

Her main firm Key Map Entertainments is worth just shy of £3million – and she’s also branched out into cosmetics.

The former X Factor contestant registered the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her youngest two daughters.
