FORECAST DISCUSSION:
What a difference a cold front makes. Much needed rain fell across central Ohio yesterday, but it was not remotely enough to put a dent in our rain deficits. It was still very welcomed. Today on the back end of that front it will be a lot cooler.
Skies are going to stay mainly clear through today and into tonight. High temperatures will only reach the upper 60s. This will be almost 20 degrees cooler compared to yesterday's high. Expect breezy winds at times from the northwest between 10-15 mph.
Tonight will feel very cool. In some cases it may be downright chilly. Lows will drop to the low 40s, with some rural areas dropping as low as the upper 30s. Winds will calm down a bit, so a wind chill temperatures will not be any different from the air temperature.
Tomorrow keeps the sunshine across central Ohio. After a brisk morning, it will be a bit more mild for the daytime high temperature. It will not be as breezy by the afternoon, but winds will still be blowing form the northwest.
Temperatures will continue to warm up as the week goes on. Our highs will return to the upper 80s to low 90s by this upcoming Thursday and Friday. The entire seven day forecast does not bring any decent rain chances to central Ohio worsening drought conditions.
