Nearly 62,000 of cases pending in high courts are over 30 years old

Nearly 62,000 cases older than 30 years are pending in various high courts, with some dating back to the 1950s. President Droupadi Murmu and Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal have urged for solutions to address this backlog. More than five crore cases are pending across all courts in India.
