297 officers commissioned into Indian Army

At the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, 258 officer cadets and 39 women officer cadets were commissioned into the Indian Army. The ceremony, reviewed by Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen N S Raja Subramani, also saw ten foreign cadets complete their training. Awards were presented to top performers, and newly commissioned officers pledged their allegiance to the Constitution of India.
