“It was scary because it was like, well, we don’t know each other, and this is high-stakes because…we have to find a way to express the depths of universal love and loss together,” Andrew told Vanity Fair.
“I felt very grown-up,” Florence added. “I felt like I was coming at it in a different way, and I had someone who could hold me and protect me in the same way that I was holding Andrew and protecting him. And it was a very, very fluid language between the two of us, and that was just a very powerful thing to create with someone.”
We Live In Time centers on Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield), who are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley‘s decade-spanning, deeply moving romance.
The film will hit theaters on October 11th. Check out the trailer here!
FYI: Florence is wearing a Tamara Ralph dress.
