‘Sadistic’ California vineyard shooter kills 81 animals in three-hour rampage

A man in Northern California, Vicente Arroyo, has pleaded not guilty to charges of animal cruelty and other offenses after allegedly killing 81 animals during a three-hour shooting spree. The incident occurred in Prunedale, where Arroyo reportedly used multiple weapons to shoot animals housed in pens and cages. A mental health evaluation has been ordered.
