DAVID Beckham has given fans a glimpse at his sprawling garden in the Cotswolds – and also revealed his surprising hobby.

Becks, 49, has posed for a series of idyllic snaps while pottering around in the grounds of his £12million countryside mansion.

The former England legend has swapped his football boots for muddy boots and now spends hours beavering away with his new hobby.

David has been busy growing an abundance of vegetables in his garden and has been proudly showing off the fruits of his labour online.

In a series of Instagram photographs, the green-fingered dad-of-four was keen to reveal his new passion project.

Wearing a scruffy hat, T-shirt and brown trousers, David could be seen grinning as he carefully planted and picked his veg.

With muddy hands, he pulled up a crop of spring onions.

David captioned the shots: “Rain, rain go away. But still laughing after getting a few tips off Alan.”

The mega star was referring to Alan Titchmarsh, having tagged the TV gardening expert in an earlier post that read: “Looks like @victoriabeckham has a few spring onions for lunch and dinner for the next few weeks How am I doing @alatichmarshmbe.”

David showed off two very impressive veg boxes, packed with everything from lettuces, cauliflower and potatoes, to kale, carrots and even the odd pear.

And he was also snapped as he got to work planting a beautiful Queen Of Sweden rose alongside his wooden fence.

Refusing to let the rain get in the way, another shot showed the star tending to his flock of chickens, which he described as “slightly damp” due to the drizzle.

David’s wife Victoria surprised him with the chickens and a cockerel on Christmas Day last year.

The Beckhams bought their huge converted barn near Chipping Norton in 2016 and they now split their time between the property and their house in London.

David, especially, has thrown himself into country life and has also been keeping bees in his grounds for the past four years.

Earlier this week, The Sun told how David is now able to make a profit from his beekeeping after trademarking a name.

But rather than call it David’s Sticky Stuff, as wife Posh has referred to it, he has gone for Bee Up.

He lodged a trademark application this week through his company DB Ventures Limited.

A source said: “David absolutely loves getting outside and looking after all of the family’s hives.

“It’s very early days so nothing will be out for a while yet. But he is putting the wheels in motion to turn it into a side hustle.

“There will be plenty of people keen to try some of David’s sticky stuff.”
