Inside Corrie star Katie McGlynn’s £200-a-night birthday spa weekend with Towie star boyfriend Ricky Rayment
KATIE McGlynn, 31, looks all lit up inside as she enjoys a birthday spa experience with her ex TOWIE star boyfriend Ricky Rayment, 34.
The lovebirds booked in for a £200 a night Swan Hotel and Spa in the picturesque Lake District to celebrate Ricky’s birthday.
Sharing a slew of snaps of the pair stripped down to their swimwear and beaming from the hot tub, Katie wrote: “A birthday weekend well spent, thank you swan hotel for a beautiful stay to celebrate Ricky’s date of birth.”
And it seems it was Katie who picked up the bill, as Ricky left her a message saying: “Thanks so much my angel.”
Since their romance was revealed by The Sun earlier this year, the couple who have been dating since last October, have been inseparable despite living at opposite ends of the country.
Manchester-based Katie has been spending time in Essex and equally Ricky often travels up north to make their relationship work.
Indeed recently they enjoyed a holiday together to the Greek Islands sharing a series of love up photographs to their social media.
Earlier this year, the actress, who played cancer-stricken Sinead Tinker in ITV’s Corrie, strongly hinted that an engagement could be on the cards in the foreseeable future.
During the couple’s first photoshoot for OK magazine, Ricky was asked whether he was poised to pop the question, to which he replied:
He said: “I’m afraid that’s for me to know and for everyone else to find out.
“It’s only been six months, so we’ll see, but it’s looking positive.”
And Katie, whose last serious relationship was in back in 2019, added: “Katie added: “We are very happy – the happiest I’ve been – and Ricky is romantic.
“I know he would pull out all the stops.”
Indeed Katie isn’t the first Corrie star to fall for the Essex charm. Former cobbles favourite Michelle Keegan is happily married to TOWIE OG Mark Wright.
Ricky who left TOWIE in 2015 previously dated Mark’s sister Jess Wright.
Since leaving the show the Essex lad has become a fishing expert and owns a lake, Crowsheath Fishery as well as a clothing brand- Filthy Hooker.
He also runs an Angling Instagram account and appeared on the ITV4 reality show- The Big Fish Off.
No doubt Katie thinks he’s a good catch.
